Olav Nietzer is the new CCO of DAHU Sports Company Ltd

Châtel-St-Denis, Switzerland – XX November 2017 – DAHU Sports Company Ltd is delighted to announce the appointment of Olav Nietzer as its CCO (Chief Commercial Officer).

Olav Nietzer, new CCO

DAHU announces Olav Nietzer’s appointment as CCO of the ski boot brand, as of 6 November 2017. Mr Nietzer brings to DAHU 18 years of experience in the industry, gained as Sales Director with Lange ski boots and Burton Snowboards, and most recently with Black Diamond in his capacity as European Sales and Brand Director. Mr Nietzer’s experience and enthusiasm come just at the right moment to support DAHU in its growth and on its path to success.

“It is highly motivating to join the DAHU ski boot brand as CCO. With its innovative character, successful design and reliability, the DAHU product has now reached the maturity necessary to pursue its growth on an international scale. With my 18 years of experience gained with market leaders such as Lange, Dynastar, Burton Snowboards and Black Diamond—mainly as European Sales Director—I believe I have a sound knowledge of the winter sports market, its industry and its requirements. I see DAHU as a huge innovation and a fantastic alternative to traditional ski boots. The sport of skiing is in constant evolution, as are expectations in terms of comfort, and the DAHU product perfectly addresses these requirements. I am very excited about the idea of using my experience for the benefit of DAHU and helping it to develop at an international level,” explains Olav Nietzer.

DAHU, a unique concept

The sport of skiing has evolved. A skier’s expectations and restrictions are no longer the same. Yet the global concept of the ski boot has remained the same over the past 40 years. This is DAHU’s raison d’être. Nicolas Frey, the creator of this unique concept, is behind the evolution of the traditional ski boot. The DAHU boot is a ski boot that combines performance and comfort. The result simply goes beyond what one would expect from a traditional ski boot.
