Ischgl ski resort to fine people wearing ski boots after 8pm

At the end of last week the Austrian ski resort of Ischgl has issued an unusual statement, officially banning skiers from wearing ski boots in the village after 8pm.

The Mayor’s office informs that “from November 20th to May 5th walking in hard-soled footwear […] will be prohibited on all of the routes and squares in the centre of Ischgl between the evening and night-time hours of 20:00 to 6:00.” This policy has been justified on the basis of a new, high quality après-ski offer.

There is no reason to panic! With your DAHU you can simply remove the exoskeleton and comfortably enjoy your après-ski wherever you like!
